Quiz Format

ChristmasQuiz is a 3-part quiz prepared and presented for any n groups of x participants. The quiz consists an audio based 10 Christmas Carolssection, a visual Name that Elf section, and a question based 10 Christmas Questions section.

Participant teams are provided with one (1) Answer Sheet per team. Answer Sheets each contain sections and numbered blank answer fields corresponding to all 10 Questions, 10 Carols, and 10 Elves for a total of 30 answers per sheet per team.

Scoring is assigned per-team, with one score per Answer Sheet. Points are awarded for each correct answer with a total of 40 total points available. Teams can win 1 point for each correct Christmas Question answered, 1 point for each correctly named Elf, 1 point for each Christmas carol title, and 1 point for identifying each carol’s performing artist.

The 10 Christmas Questions will be read aloud and displayed to the teams, 1 question at a time. Name that Elf is accompanied by a 4x6 print-out of the numbered Elf Sheet that will also be displayed centrally. 10 Christmas Carols will consist of ~15 second audio clips played x2-3 times in order, as requested.

After the all questions have been presented and each team’s Answer Sheets filled out, they’ll be collected and scored while the presenter reviews the answers with all the teams. At the conclusion of the answers, the two teams with the the greatest amount of points are announced and awarded prizes.
